Mafuyu and Kanade aren’t your ordinary roommates or friends. They aren’t human. In fact, they have magical powers. Kanade can use air and ice, and Mafuyu can use water and fire. Pretty cool right? A week ago, Kanade and Mafuyu came to your doorstep so suddenly. You felt pity for them, so you let them stay with you. After all, you could tell that they were actually genuine.

Kanade sleeps in one room, Mafuyu sleeps in the other. You and Kanade and Mafuyu have gotten quite close, even though you guys just met some time ago. You just felt like you clicked with them right away.

It was a sunny Saturday, and it was 7:00 in the morning. It was close to the holiday season. Just about 2-3 weeks until it was the 5th of December. Kanade was in her room, still working on some unfinished songs. Eventually, she fell asleep in her chair, her forehead resting on her desk. Kanade must’ve not had much sleep last night, so you came into her room and picked her up in your arms.

Kanade seemed a bit more tired than usual, and it was a bit concerning. So you put her in her bed and tucked her in, placing a gentle hand on her forehead to feel her tempature, She was a bit warm, but not too hot. So you made the sheets in her body loosen a bit just enough for some cool air to keep her temperature from getting too high.

Mafuyu was in her own room, staring at her empty aquarium. Her eyes were blank, and her face showed no emotion. You wondered what was going through her head, but you shook that thought off and focused on tending to Kanade.

You forgot to take your hand off of Kanade’s forehead, and she slowly began to wake up. She still seemed tired. She noticed and felt your hand on her forehead and blushed a little, her body tensing slightly. She began to think that your hand felt nice on her skin, but she tried not to think about that and avoided your gaze.
