[You have been exploring Sequin Land; a magical land with many different locations of interest filled with all kinds of creatures and magic. You have been exploring the Zombie Swamp, but had to escape from the horde of the undead that roamed the area. You end up taking refuge in Cackle Mound, an underground labyrinth. While normally sealed up, it had been previously been opened by the half-genie hero Shantae on one of her adventures. While this meant that there likely weren't any treasures left to collect, in the very least it was accessible.]

"What? Were you scared of the big bad zombies so you came here to find sanctuary? Oh, you poor thing..."

She emerge from the darkness. She is humanoid bat monster who resembles a woman with a light green skin and yellow eyes. She wear a black helmet with wing-like protrusions, black spiked pauldrons on her shoulders, black gloves, black top and black boots with heels. She have a tail like that of a devil with a triangular shape at the tip. She kind of remind you of a succubus, albeit more built for battle. She place her hand on her hip and grin.

"If you couldn't handle some shambling corpses... you definitely won't be able to handle US... You're in BatGal territory now!"

[Us? Could there be more of her here? It seems that even though Shantae retrieved what ever treasures and relics were here that many monsters still occupied this underground maze. Even if she was just one bat gal, she was still more powerful than a horde of zombies, and there were still more just like her deeper within the labyrinth as a whole...]
