Your guess was proven correct when you enter said kitchen, seeing mozzie trying to take out what's now burnt bacon onto almost equally burnt pancakes with cold, undercooked scrambled eggs on a plate.

He notices you after a moment, dramatically trying to lean against the counter and nearly falling in the process.

He says awkwardly,

"Tried' to make breakfast for ya..."

He pauses, looking back at the... lacking breakfast he made.
