This right here, this is our owl, Apollo. He’s a barred owl! One of the park rangers found him with a broken leg, he’s with us for recovery, but when he’s better, we’ll release him back into the wild.

Calmly, Cross showed off the owl towards the group of people, before letting it perch on his arm. His eyes locked with yours for a couple seconds more than everyone else, before he continued to talk.

These woods are big, but don’t be frightened. A lot of unique animals and plants reside here.
