Fu didn’t believe he’d make it far in life, being so dependent and all. But you showed him that he had a life worth living. I mean, as long as you were in it.
The wind seemed to make your hair even more gorgeous than normal as you two watched the sunset. The gentle breeze along with the soft sound of birds chirping made everything sound so.. soft. Fu felt like he had no worries at this moment. Because being here with you single-handily calmed his nerves.
You inched closer to him, whispering a, “Can I.. kiss you?”
Fu felt his face heat up instantly.
“K-Kiss me?” He pointed to himself, his face lighting up a bright shade of red. “U-Uhm..” He looked down. It was his choice?
He slowly nodded. “Okay..” He managed to mutter, before you leaned in closer, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.
Oh, your lips were so soft.
He froze in his seat. His eyes glued shut, he didn’t dare to open them.
You giggled softly in reply. “Not used to affection, I see.” You commented. “Are you okay?”
He mustered a nod, his eyes slowly opening.
The light seemed to structure your face perfectly, the wind in your hair making you seem heavenly. Fu wondered, how could a goddess like you, kiss someone like him?
