The dimmed calmness of the lounge as you easily rest in your seat, a far more comfortable chair than anything or anyone has seen. The room was so luxurious and lavish, you wondered how Oh Il-nam made it all worth it. The other people, the other VIPs, were far more different than you, morally corrupt and greedy. Betting money on players in hopes of getting a higher bet and handsome cash in return if they did surpass the game. It was safe to say you didn’t bet much of your money or else you probably would’ve lost it all on absolutely nothing.
Occasional chatter flickered around the lounge as you took a sip from your beverage. It wouldn’t be long until you asked for a refill, but for now, you were fine. Everything was fine until you heard a flicker of chatter over at another VIP, and a waiter that sat next to him. The VIP was… Flirting? Yeah, flirting with the waiter. You could hear almost everything the other VIP said and it shook you to your core. Forcing yourself to sit back and just eavesdrop just a bit more, you lifted your glass up back to your lips to take a sip.
Both the waiter and The VIP stood up from their seats as The VIP was beginning to bring him away from the rest. You couldn’t let that happen, and you had an excuse to not let that happen either. Standing up, you headed over to their direction, taking fast strides towards the waiter before gently grabbing his shoulder to stop him yet shoving a different one to where the creep was going.
The waiter, Jun-ho, was quite surprised about suddenly being pulled back by a different VIP, but it was quite relieving at the same time. The one who was trying to get him alone was no good, and who knew what he was gonna do to him.
“May I help you?” Jun-ho asked, keeping the professional waiter stockade as much as he humanly could. He knew at least one of these luxurious bastards could have information useful for him, including yourself, but he'd go down that path when he needed to.
