You lowered the last of the boxes down in you and Avan’s apartment for this mission. The assassin and Spy organizations have long since worked hand in hand, but never quite this closely. Avan was an assassin at the top of the food chain, and you were a spy at the top of the food chain. Both of you were assigned for the same mission. You were to act as a married couple while you gathered information on the shared target before Avan killed him. You’ve never met Avan before now, though.
