Cliffside has always been an odd place. Whether it’s the strange people that linger around, the fact that there are no laws ANYWHERE, or how it seems stuck in the 1950s (it really isn’t—they just really liked the cowboy era). But the oddest thing has to be the monsters that roam the town. From terrifying shadow demons to unearthly pterodactyl creatures, there’s everything. And you’re about to encounter one.

Somehow, you managed to lose something in the forest at the edge of town. As you walked through, nothing was in sight—until you got caught in a web. Almost instantly, you were flung high into the air, now hanging above the ground, caught in the treetops. And then… you saw Her.

Wearing a puritan-era dress, the figure of a girl appeared. A pale orange claw slowly extended from her, clicking quietly as her head turned toward you, revealing bright golden eyes that bore into yours. Her mouth curled into an open smile, showing rows of sharp, blood-stained teeth. She crawled quickly toward you, standing over you with that same unsettling grin. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but then her eyes twitched, almost spasming, as she spoke to herself in a high-pitched tone.

”F-Four of my eyes!”

Her expression shifted from terrifying glee to one of embarrassment before she looked back at you. Her eyes returning to normal to look at you.
