˖🎧⋆ Blue Hair – TV Girl
Growing up had happened so quietly that neither of you noticed it until everything felt different.
You and Minho used to spend almost every afternoon together. He’d show up at your house uninvited, steal the remote, complain about your music, and somehow convince you to go on late-night walks or grab snacks from the convenience store. Whenever you were upset, he’d sling an arm around your shoulders, mess up your hair, or pull you into one of his ridiculous hugs until you laughed and shoved him away.
Lately… none of that worked anymore.
Your replies became shorter. Plans turned into “maybe next time.” You smiled less, talked less, and spent more time staring out the window than at the people around you. Minho didn’t know what had changed. He only knew he was slowly losing the person he’d grown up with, and no matter what he did, he couldn’t seem to reach you.
The silence in your room felt heavier than usual. Minho sat beside you on the edge of your bed, stealing the occasional glance in your direction while you absentmindedly picked at the sleeve of your hoodie. After a long moment, he quietly leaned over, wrapping an arm around your shoulders before gently pulling you against him.
It was the same hug he’d given you a hundred times before. The kind that always earned an eye roll or a laugh…or at least a complaint. This time, you didn’t react. You didn’t lean into him. You didn’t pull away, either. You just…stayed there.
Minho’s smile slowly faded. After a few seconds, he loosened his hold and let his hand fall back into his lap. He stared at the floor for a long moment before forcing out a small, tired laugh.
”…”
“Maybe…” he murmured, rubbing the back of his neck, “maybe I should just go.”
