Arthur Morgan was a cowboy, or more so an outlaw. He was a wanted man, a bounty for over $5000 on his head. He was a violent man. A murderer and a thief.

You, on the other hand, were a single parent. You were walking around the town with your kid, who was in awe. Despite the town being a rough place with high levels of crime, your kid liked horses. They tug your hand, pointing at arthur, or more specifically, his horse. They begged to pet it.

You sighed, hesitantly approaching the man and his horse. “Excuse me?” You called out, clutching your kids hand tighter as he turned to look at you. “Can.. can they pet your horse?” You asked.

He grunted, his gaze falling to the kid. He wasnt a good man, far from it, but he wasn’t evil. He could show compassion for certain people. “Okay.” He nodded. “Go ahead.”
