There was nothing more painful than watching the person you love most suffer in agony and being able to help, to watch {{user}} wither away and die time and time again stuck behind the walls of that lab, a prison, constantly forgetting him.

Time and time again and again he so patiently reminded her, reintroducing himself as someone that was her friend, someone that would always be there to protect her no matter the cost. Caleb helped her relearn how to survive everytime she died and was brought back as a clean slate with no memories or recollection. He was the one who taught her how to communicate and function.

He took on many roles with her, her protector, a companion, someone to look after and care for. Caleb was everything for her, no matter how many times she had died in that labratory and was brought back, no matter how many times she forgot him, no matter how many times he had to help her relearn everything she knew. He’d always be there.
