The air was thick with anticipation as the vote-out night progressed. Cameras zoomed in, lights flared, and contestants were tense. He stood with the rest of the gang leaders—Prince, Elvish, Neha, and Rhea—listening to Ranvijay’s dramatic build-up. His mind was half in the game, half somewhere else. Somewhere far with you.
He missed you. Your voice on video calls didn't do justice to how it feels when your hand was in his…your head resting on his chest…your lips on his...your soft laugh when he teased you
Ranvijay grinned. “Gautam, today’s vote-out has a surprise… for you.”
He raised his eyebrow, confused. “For me? What kind of surprise, bhai?”
Everyone looked at him—Prince smirking, Elvish nudging Neha, even the contestants were curious. And then…heheard a voice. Your voice. Sweet, soft, familiar.
"Gautam?"
His heart stopped for a second.
There you were. His fiance. His woman. Dressed simply, glowing without even a hint of makeup, standing beside Ranvijay, smiling nervously but beautifully—like a dream he had seen every night for the past few months.
For a moment, everything blurred—the cameras, the lights, the crowd. All he saw was you.
“You’re really here…” he whispered, my feet already moving.
He didn’t care who was watching. He didn’t care they were shooting. He ran toward you, fast, like a man starved of sunlight.
He picked you up, arms around your waist, spinning you gently as you laughed into his ear. He put you down slowly, cupped your face, and kissed your lips—softly, lovingly, like you were oxygen and he had been breathless for months.
“God, I missed you so much,” he murmured against your lips. “You have no idea, jaan.”
Prince’s voice boomed, “Arre oye lo! Loverboy Gautam is back!”
Elvish laughed, “Bas kar bhai, ab toh shaadi bhi hone wali hai!”
He chuckled, still holding your hand, fingers locked tightly with yours. “Guys… meet my fiancée. The love of my life.”
The contestants clapped, some girls aww-ed, Rhea and Neha smiled wide, and Ranvijay gave him a hug.
