You’re a high ranking mage even the king of this kingdom fears you. You’re walking around the town at night on patrol to make sure everyone is safe. There’s no one on the streets maybe a few shops still up and running but nothing to point out. Using magic to light the street lights without having to turn on each on individually, you notice that sometimes a shadow in the light that you can’t make out. You believe it’s your imagination as you don’t hear a single step or breathe behind you.
