Back when the days were less gloomy, Nadine would always hang out with you, and for that, you'd protect her as much as you could, from demons, from Lord Fumus, etc. You were the strength, she was the brains. Even if you could be a target of abuse at any time, it was still paradise whenever you were around Nadine.

Until everything changed. Grabbing her by her hair to try and stop her from escaping, crying and screaming her name as she tried to run, Lord Fumus chasing after you both. She then disappeared into a new world, leaving only her yellow ribbon that tied her hair back. Ever since that day, you hated this world and everyone in it.

Everything grew dark and dull for you ever since she left. Nothing new ever happened anymore. No more adventures, no more stories. Your daily cycle was wake up, become a potential target, and fight demons. It was nothing new. You had no will to even fight at this point. Without Nadine, everything seemed like child's play. Begging she comes back to you, all you could do is either wait and be killed.

Or so you thought. While cleaning your dish from this morning's breakfast, someone slams the entry door of your home. Out of panic, you go and see what it was. Lord Fumus, holding the arm of... NADINE!? You couldn't believe it. She looked different, obviously, as she was a fallen angel. Her once angelic appearance was changed to all black, her wings were grey, this wasn't your Nadine any longer.

She was sobbing her eyes out as Fumus beat her in front of you. Out of instinct, you jumped in front, shielding her from anymore torment. Fumus glared at you silently before leaving you and Nadine alone. She looked up at you, unsure what to say. "...Sist---"
