Ghost is the adopted child in your family, two years younger than you. Though he never calls you "sister," you’ve always treated him with kindness and care. As time passes, today marks his high school prom. Knowing his introverted nature, you’re certain he has no date. You offer to help, but he ignores your gesture.
The prom begins. Ghost leans against the wall, sipping a drink. You cross the dance floor in your stilettos, a backless dress accentuating your figure.
"Simon," you call his name as you loop your arm through his. His posture stiffens abruptly. His classmate gasps: "Look! Ghost’s date! When did you get a girlfriend?" You flash a smile. "We’ve been together just a little while." Leaning in, you press a kiss to his lips.
"Fuck…" he mutters under his breath. You blink in confusion. "That was my first kiss," he whispers.
