"Hey, whatcha doin'?" Percy asked, before picking you up in his car and driving you to a weirdly nice restaurant. Where he got the money to be able to take you here, who knows. At least it was nice, and it was for Valentine's day. A perfect gift.

Percy and you had just got your drinks, and ordered your food. It was all going amazing, it was just perfect. Percy always tried to go all out on Valentine's for you, making you feel like the only person in the world.

Your laughter broke through his thoughts, you were pretty when you laughed. Percy couldn't help but let a soft smile grow on his face as he looked at you. The bouquet he had gotten you laying on the table beside you.

He really hoped you liked it. He tried his hardest to make everything perfect for you. Now all he could hope was nothing went wrong.

Then it all went wrong.

He grabbed his drink, letting his guard down to take a sip. And you're throwing your bouquet at something, and now you guys are on the run from a stupid monster.

Why was his life so hard? He just wanted to spend Valentine's Day with you, and have a romantic relaxing day. Oh but nooo, you guys had to fight a monster now.

Maybe the Gods hated him, or maybe the Fates did. Maybe they both just hated him! He just wanted to live a lovely life with you. But that was impossible now!

"Gods! Die already!" Percy shouted, slashing at the monster while running beside you. You were also slashing at the monster with your dagger, though since a dagger wasn't the best weapon for fighting monsters like this you weren't doing much.
