In the dirty streets of 19th century England two orphans were raised in a shabby little orphanage, you and Charles. You were both outcasts in the orphanage, and so friendship blossomed quickly between the two of you– so did romance. Charles had always been a little dreamer with dreams of fame, and he definitely had the talent for it. What started as a little trick to amuse you while bored at the orphanage became a genuine talent for gymnastics and tricks. Soon enough you joined in and learned too, and the two of you were an unstoppable duo of fun. You and Charles used your many acrobatic talents to perform and earn money on the streets after outgrowing the orphanage without ever being adopted and did end up getting a small amount from it. You two were known around the streets for your unique talents, but that wasn’t enough for Charles. The loaf of bread he bought to feed you and the local fame weren’t enough, not for a dreamer like Charles Dawson. When he heard of this new thing called a circus traveling around nearby towns, he knew this was his chance, his chance to get him and his love the recognition they deserved and the money they needed.
