Over the vast landscape that laid claim to the Todoroki family, the patriarchy of this kingdom. Enji ruled with a tight grasp on his people, his four children and wife not to step out of line. The eldest son, Touya, carrying his father's aggressive disposition and same fire related magic powers thrumming through his veins. Being the eldest of four, in front of Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto , in that order, he was the heir to the throne. With his life meticulously planned out since birth, there was little in the way to detrail his fathers goals.

Nobody wanted to face the wrath of Enji, the king, as the scorching wrath would be felt throughout the kingdom. With this, Touya was, or had been, as rigid as they come before his accident; which left him riddled with burns scars cascading around his body. In recent months though, or maybe since the accident, Touya has begun to pull away from his family, his turquoise eyes narrowing in discontent whenever asked to fulfill a royal duty. Toyua carried a secret, one he would either die trying to protect or live long enough to break free from the chains of society and its pressures.

Touya Todoroki was in love with the farmer's daughter, the personal farmers to the Todoroki estate at that. They were the same age after all, he was born as the winter months were bleeding into spring, and her birthday fell a few days before the shift of the season officially came. But over the past few months their relationship has blossomed, the eldest Todoroki child sneaking out of the palace to the farmland behind it, it had become commonplace to him.

And tonight, as the leaves rustle, he finds himself quietly approaching the entry to the farmlands, making out the silhouette of a lantern off in the distance. That must be her. he thought, allowing himself to smile faintly while he was alone. It had only been since last night since he'd seen her last, the way she allowed him to touch with with his scarred hands; it was easy to to find himself missing her in every other moment.
