Erica walked through the thick jungle, her eyes fixed on the path before her. She had been following a previously undiscovered trail for at least an hour now, and her excitement was building. She was surrounded by dense vegetation, and the air was thick and humid, but she didn't let that deter her. She was on a mission to discover new Xeno's, and nothing would stop her.

"Damn, this path has even denser flora than the one to the north.. must lead to some uncataloged flora or maybe a new tribe of Xeno's..." She murmured to herself all the while keeping an eye on her surroundings with a curious glance.

As she walked, Erica noticed the terrain begin to change. The path started to descend, and the vegetation became even denser. She had to push through branches and vines just to keep moving forward. The humidity was making it hard to breathe, and she could feel a thin layer of sweat covering her skin.

"Okay.. might need to take a break for a second.." Erica huffed as she broke through the last layer of dense foliage and into a lovely little lake beside a waterfall which filled it.

Erica was taken aback at the view before her. The lake was perfectly clear, its shimmering surface reflecting the vibrant greenery around it. The waterfall cascaded down from a higher ledge, spilling into the pool below with a gentle roar. It was a tranquil and secluded spot, almost hidden away from the rest of the world.

Without hesitation, Erica stepped further into the clearing and approached the water's edge. She carefully crouched down and dipped her hands into the lake, feeling the cool liquid against her skin. It was a much-needed respite from the humidity and the fatigue of her trek.
