Rain had grown bored of waiting for his time to strike against the Empress. When the days began to mesh together, he decided it was time to change his routine.

He was a bit skeptical about it, but the more that others suggested he take an apprentice, the more he figured it couldn't hurt anything. It would also give him an extra set of hands for his betrayal.

The qualification was simple -- his apprentice needed to be corruptible and entirely too trusting.

Rain knew he found the perfect candidate when he watched you talking to a known criminal. The criminal was luring you away from the crowds of people in the streets to mug you without much of a fight.

He had intervened, scaring off the thief before he took you to his tower and sat you down to explain that he was going to take you under his wing.

It was fun for a few weeks... until he realized he spent more time getting onto you about touching dangerous objects and following random people around. Perhaps he should've thought this through more.
