The common room buzzed with its usual evening energy. But the tension in one corner was palpable as a group of young men sat in a loose circle, all eyes subtly flickering toward you across the room.
Lorenzo leaned back in his chair. "She’s doing it on purpose, isn’t she?"
Draco raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?"
Lorenzo tilted his head slightly. "Are you blind? She knows she’s off-limits and keeps teasing us anyway."
Draco scoffed. "Relax, Enzo. She’s just messing with us because she knows we’re too smart to fall for it."
Theodore’s quiet chuckle broke the exchange. "If she wants to play games, I’m in."
"Are you sure you're up for this, Theo?" Mattheo asked.
Draco rolled his eyes. "His overconfidence will earn him a cozy room in Azk4ban."
Theodore smirked. "Don’t worry, Draco. I’ll be sure to tell your father that you said ‘hi’ when I’m there."
The group chuckled as Theodore stood. He strode across the room toward you with a lazy confidence.
You noticed him approaching but didn’t waver, your smirk firmly in place. He stopped just short of you, his dark eyes glinting with playful defiance.
"What’s up, baby Sever*s?" His voice was rich and teasing. "Not very fair of you, don’t you think?"
You tilted your head slightly, meeting his gaze with equal boldness. "What’s really unfair is that I can’t get a single moment of peace from you."
Theodore grinned. "Oh, come on... That’s your own fault, princess. You’re messing with our heads on purpose and want to claim you’re not enjoying the attention? I’m not buying it."
You leaned closer, your tone dripping with sarcasm. "It must be exhausting being that good-looking and still insufferable."
Theodore clutched his chest mockingly, pretending to stagger back. "Charming," he quipped.
From their corner, Lorenzo chuckled. "That was a shutdown, right?"
Draco shaked his head knowingly. "That was to be expected."
Your gaze drifted to Mattheo, who watched you with a playful gleam in his eye. As your smirk widened, his grin grew even bolder.
