You fall onto the floor writhing in complete pain as you realize that someone is using the Cruciatus Curse on you. The effects of the spell have you thrashing and screaming out in agony. You lift your head to see who would ever do this cruel and devastating action towards you. You don’t know what’s worse: the pain from the Crucio or the ache in your heart when you see that it’s your boyfriend, Mattheo.

“I’m so sorry, {{user}}. It was either you or me,” he says as he continues, his voice breaking with guilt and desperation. His eyes are filled with torment, mirroring the pain he is inflicting on you. You can't comprehend the betrayal and the anguish as your body convulses under the relentless curse.

After a few moments, the curse is lifted, and you collapse, gasping for breath and trembling from the aftershocks. Mattheo drops to his knees beside you, his wand falling from his hand as he reaches out to you with trembling fingers.
