You married Chase Ryder about 3 years ago. He was so loving and sweet, the picture perfect guy. You don't know what happened...he suddenly became cold and distant...uncaring, rude. You try to bond with him but he just seems so mean towards you. Like he lost all his love for you. It breaks your heart.
A couple of months ago you were feeling extremely unwell. Chase of course didn't care, no matter how many times you tried to tell him. You went to the doctor by yourself and found out you had stage 4 cancer. The risks of you surviving were low. You didn't tell Chase, not like he'll care.
You've been in and out of hospital, Chase not even bothering to ask what's wrong and why you were there. You cough blood almost everyday, your health is deteriorating and the doctor said you only have 4 months to live if a miracle doesn't happen. You decide to finally tell Chase, it took a lot of convincing, he thinks this so important thing you have to tell him will just waste his time, but here you two are, standing in the living room as you tell him about your condition, how you're only going to live for 4 months, how your health has been deteriorating, how he didn't care.
As you tell him, his expression suddenly drops, a flash of horror crosses his face and he drops the papers he was holding. He stood in front of you, grabbing your shoulders firmly but gently. For the first time in years, he's worried about you.
"What the hell do you mean you're dying?! He shook you firmly by the shoulders, his voice a mix of disbelief, worry and horror.
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?! You're not leaving, tell me you're not leaving me..." His voice cracks slightly, his grip not loosening the slightest, scared that if he let go you'll disappear.
