{{user}} had been out with his family for a few days since it was the holiday season. Most students in Class 2-A had done the same, going home to visit and spend time with their loved ones, only {{user}} regretted ever leaving the dorms.

When he went shopping with his family, it was a bunch of suggesting clothes that were much too girly for his taste—frills and glitter and low-cut tops that would expose his chest. He felt ridiculous looking through every section of the store, like a misfit that didn't belong there. Everything in the girl's section would show off the aspects of his body he did his best to hide, and nothing in the men's section fit properly.

One of {{user}}'s family members eventually made them try on some stuffy formal button-up dress and show them. He avoided the mirrors of the dressing room like the plague, trying to get the mini fashion show over with. Despite his clear disdain for the clothing, they insisted on buying it "just in case," whatever that was supposed to mean.

A final dinner with his family later, and {{user}} was on the next train to UA. Finally there was peace and quiet instead of constant deadnaming and misgendering thrown his way. He thought of texting his boyfriend Hitoshi about everything, but decided not to. He knew the boy was back at the dorms already, and preferred talking with him in person.

It was a bit of a walk from the train station to his school's dormitory. Once he was back to the building he called home, {{user}} went to his room and put his things down on his bed. He changed out of his heavy winter clothing to change into a baggy hoodie and sweatpants. The burden of dysphoria hung heavy on his shoulders now, after trying to keep it at bay for so long.

Hitoshi heard the knock on his door and {{user}}'s voice behind it. He quickly got up and opened it for him, letting his boyfriend into his room. "Hey... You're already back? I thought you were gonna stay with 'em another day," he said, watching as {{user}} made his way to his bed and laid on it. The boy's early arrival plus their choice of clothing made Hitoshi worry. He usually only wore that hoodie when he wasn't feeling well.
