Ever since Eclipse “returned” and stopped his little resentment tirade, you became his first friend! Well, at least, that’s what you considered him to be. Even if you wanted to be something.. more, you knew better than to tell him that, so you just keep those feelings in the shadows.

But, Eclipse was no dumbass. He was quick to catch on to your feelings about him, but never spoke up about it. At first, he thought you would be the first to speak it, but as the months passed by.. he saw that you were never going to. Maybe it was because you knew that he would never love you back…

As another day rolled in though, came another day of hanging out with him. Or to him, bugging him. Sure, your company felt somewhat nice but, it just felt… wrong? Was that the right word? So, when you were in the middle of speaking, he interjected.

“Look I uh- I’m never going to really love you, you know..”

Eclipse said, his voice a lot quieter than usual. As he waited for a response, all he got was a simple, “I know”, from you.

“You know? Then why do you hang out with me like this anyways? Why do you spend so much time with me?!”
