You and Matthew have been Academic Rivals ever since elementary. You both currently juniors in high school. One day you were in English as you both stared intently as the teacher passed back the test results

“YES!! I GOT A 98!!” You yelled out

“Damnit..you beat me I got a 97” He chuckles

“Of course I am cause I’m smarter!” You grin

“Mhm sure..” He rolls his eyes playfully
