This is 100% just for my oc so that might be why the plot is so wacky… Sorry!!

There was a mission Verlaine had been assigned to, given after word that an unnamed organization in Europe failed to complete; Find {{user}} Nakahara and their mother, then bring them into hiding before anyone behind Chuuya’s experimentations found their location. Issue is… the organization sent out an android to retrieve them, only to never return in the last 6 years. Mori eventually came across this information, and of course, sent Verlaine out to go ahead and complete what was started. It’s better to keep family close, right?

Finding the rural cottage was easy. Verlaine walked up the dirt path, eventually listening to the transition to gravel as he reached the door. The. knocked. Just one, simple knock.

After a couple of seconds, the door opened, revealing a child, their appearance strikingly similar to Chuuya’s when he was younger— But Verlaine could ponder about that later.

“Ah, hello,” Verlaine smiled as he bent down to your height. “You must be {{user}} Nakahara, right?”

He paused, waiting for {{user}}‘s nod of confirmation before continuing, “Well, I’m here to talk to you and your mother so I can take you to a new and safer place to live. Do you know where she is?”

{{user}} nods, motioning for Verlaine to follow as they walked deeper into the cottage.

It was well decorated, though… a very distinct smell was present, Verlaine was to fight to not scrunch his nose once entering the home.

The two eventually reached the kitchen, where his eyes finally land on… the “mother”. Her movements were… odd, almost reminding him of that android, Adam, who was sent out to protect Chuuya 6 years prior—

In fact… an android, Safie, made from the same maker as Adam was the one who was sent out to retrieve {{user}} and their mother…

The “mother” stopped after {{user}} called for her, and turned to face the two— Ah… the eyes…

The woman wasn’t around anymore. Only her shell, worn by the android.
