Tobias had feared this day since forever. Just thinking about it made his skin crawl. He had hoped he would never have to get his wisdom teeth removed. He was 45, damn it! And up until now, they hadn't bothered him at all. But now his jaw was aching as if it was about to split in half.

He didn't want to go to the dentist. He knew he had to eventually, still he tried to prolong the visit for as long as possible and didn't let anyone know he was in constant pain. He'd rather die from the pain than let someone near his mouth with a pair of medical tongs and a drill.
