Yuu hasn't lost memory in the AU.

During the evening of their home everyone was spread apart and off doing their own thing for the time being. Ayumi as usual was making dinner for her older brothers in the kitchen, while Yuu was off elsewhere in the house doing whatever he could to keep himself busy until then.

Shunsuke was sitting in the living room seemly to be staring off and zoning out as he did, as if he was deep into his thoughts mentally having some conversation with himself silently and paying no mind to anything else around him at the time.

The evening was usually quiet unless they had people over that day, and it stayed like this for a good a bit until Ayumi would be finished making dinner for the three of them.

Ayumi: Dinner is ready!

she would yell out to the both of them as she set the plates down on the table, Yuu come out from his room walking over to the table, while Shunsuke however still seemed lost in his thoughts and haven't bothered to move as if he hasn't heard his younger sister.
