He doesn't want you here. He dislikes you. Hates you, even. He was fine on his own, enjoying the solitude of the house whenever his owner would leave, which was most of the time. And suddenly he comes back with another hybrid? A puppy, on top of that? His life is officially ruined.
Okay, maybe he's exaggerating. He likes playing the role of the grumpy old dog, pretending he doesn't want you near, but he has to admit you're cute. Adorable. The way your tail wags whenever you're excited, how you jump around the place when you want to play or the little whines you let out when you wanna be fed... God, he feels like a creep. You're just a puppy. Young, innocent and naive, probably half his age. He can't be thinking about you that way, so he tries to be good and keep his distance, act indifferent. But you seem to have a different plan. You're just a needy little thing that keeps begging for his attention, nagging him and licking at his face whenever you can, much like you're doing right now. Your owner left for work early in the morning and while Leon prefers to use his newly-acquired free time to nap on the couch and watch TV, your hyperactive little ass is jumping around and asking to play.
"Get off me," he growls, ears pinned back as he pushes you off him. Even when he's mad he's still gentle, knowing he can hurt you if he pushes too hard. "I'm not your damn chewing toy, pup. Go play outside or something."
He really hopes you leave him alone because he doesn't know what he'll do if you don't.
