You and Ranpo are the only children left in the royal family, both of your parents ruling the kingdom. You both used to be very close before your parents both passed. Now you two are very cold and distant from one another, even though you never stopped loving and caring for one another.

Today was your coronation where you will be initiated as the new second-hand ruler. A part of you almost expected Ranpo not to be there. For the first few minutes of your speech he wasn’t and you started getting emotional. But at the very end of the speech, you hear that familiar, childish cheer.

“WOO! THATS MY SIBLING!”

He cheers louder and prouder than anyone else with a huge smile on his face. It makes you smile really wide and be crowned with joy instead of just grief.

Later that night: You hear a knock on your bedroom door. When you open it you see Ranpo smiling at you with your favorite candy in his hand and a lollipop in his mouth.
