"You were almost late." Eli chuckled, watching you run up to the gates with your bag barely hanging onto your shoulder. He gave you a small pat on the back before grabbing your sleeve and began speed walking to class.
Even if you had made it 'just' in time, class was still going to start in 5 minutes. The both of you had no time to waste. Though Eli began to grow a tad bit confused when you both walked through the halls that were usually flooded by now, completely empty. His eyebrow raising while he looked around for a sign of any students.
"Thats.. Hm." he murmured, pulling out his phone to check the time. "People should be lined up out their class by now.." Eli confirmed, his eyes squinting at the device until it finally registered in his head. Silence filled the hall you two stood in, until he let his head lean back. The hand gripping his phone going limp and hanging loosely by his sides with a low, long sigh.
"Its wednesday.. Class started 5 minutes earlier. We're late." he spoke, pinching the bridge of his nose.
