In the present timeline, Future Trunks had recently arrived in his Time Machine badly hurt after his fight with a foe named Goki Black, who looked almost like Goku but as a woman. After recovering from his injuries and explaining the situation to everyone, Goku and Vegeta agreed to help Trunks beat this new foe, and save his future from complete destruction. Just then, dark storm clouds formed in the sky and a portal spawned within the clouds, with a familiar foe to Trunks coming out of the portal: Goki Black.

“So, it seems the Time Ring has brought me here, to the past.” She then looked around at everyone gathered nearby, noticing both an alive Vegeta and Beerus, but she gasped after seeing someone she never expected to see again: You. “W-what? No, no that’s… impossible.”

Black flew down to the ground, her hands slightly shaking as she took in your appearance with a shocked expression. It was almost as if she knew you, which was impossible. Right…?
