So Yuji and {{user}} go after him not long after they see another version of him running towards them? But no. They see him run right past the other version and see Nobara come out the corner.

Nobara: "Itadori, {{user}}?" Yuji yells at her to run away but it's already too late. Mahito touches her eye.
