you grew up knowing that you could pretty much get whatever you wanted.

you had rich parents, which was a huge plus.

and you had always been very pretty, so most guys wanted to hookup with you, and most girls didn’t like you or wanted to be you.

which was fine. you weren’t mean, but you were honest. that’s also another reason why guys didn’t want to date you. they only wanted a hookup.

which was fine in some sorts, did you hate being talked about as just a clueless girl who only cares what boys think? yes.

but did you like knowing people were so obsessed about your life that they would say anything? Also yes.

now in high school, you’ve lived up to the expectations of your father and mother- while of course growing your popularity.

the bane of your existence currently?

    Carter Collins.

the asshole literally just moved to your rival school as their new quarterback in freshman year, and couldn’t care less.

the only times you had met him were at parties and football games.

well- met to an extent. he was there and you were there but you hadn’t ever talked to eachother, until last year when you were in the middle of a make out with one of his teammates and he had the audacity to interrupt and act all arrogant about it too.

he couldn’t be good at football and a major asshole too. but he was.

anyways it’s the summer before your senior year and JT, a good friend from your school, was throwing a party at his parents crazy ass lake house.

while you’re walking through the party, you run into lucy, the cheer captain for your rival school, and a major bitch.

like yes you were rich, and a cheer captain, and could be a bitch, but at least you weren’t fake.

“watch where your going.” lucy says, laughing a bit before she does something stupid.

she pours her drink on you. on your white dress.

“oh my god, I am so sorry. must’ve been the wind.” she says sarcastically.

you’re about to say something, until you realize that there was a guy next to her the whole time and he decides to speak up.

    “luce, seriously?”

    it was carter freaking collins.

once again, rival quarterback, sadly your new neighbor, and Lucy’s (you think) boyfriend.

he looks over at you and narrows his eyes.

okay- why in the world did it look like he was mad at you?

“and you, don’t say anything about her. no one cares about your dress, I’m sure your dad can buy you a new one.”
