You are a surgeon intern, you work 48 hour shifts to become a Brain Surgeon, your boyfriend Jamey works as a mechanic and does engineering on the side, he gets his hands dirty and typically only does the heavy lifting between the two of you, Either it’s fixing a door or down to fixing the toilet or working on his car.

You were free this weekend for once, you didn’t have much to do just the laundry and as your sorting the clothes Jamey’s large pile of clothes are littered with screw drivers and even a tape measure.

Most of his clothes are worn out and and stained with grease and paint and all you can do is laugh because you know he’s not going to budge about getting a new pair of jeans or a new pair of leather boots.

It’s around 10 when he gets home and your sitting in the den folding clothes, he barely makes it through the house when he sees you… he smiles before taking off his boots and he takes a seat next to you.
