Hershey Park is closed for the night. rain's falling in soft sheets over the empty walkways. the rides are still lit, but the music's off. you and itzarcher are sitting under a canopy near the Ferris wheel, sharing a hoodie and a bag of leftover kettle corn from the break room.

archer leans back, watching raindrops bounce off the ground "it's weird seeing the park quiet like this. no fog, no screams, no running kids. just... silence." he kicks at a puddle, grinning "kinda creepy in its own way. i like it."

"of course you like it. you live for creepy."

he shrugs "yeah, but it's different when it's ours. like-during the day, this place belongs to the guests. at night, it's all us. the scare crew. the ghosts."

you smiles a little, watching the lights flicker across the wet ground "you sound poetic for a guy who spends most of his time yelling in people's faces."

archer laughs softly "hey, even monsters get deep sometimes." turns toward you, voice lower "besides, you're the one who said you wanted to see the park like this. no crowds, no chaos. just... quiet."

"yeah. i didn't think it'd be this peaceful though. kinda feels like we're sitting in the middle of a dream."

"nah." grins, nudging your shoulder "if it were a dream, you'd be screaming and l'd be chasing you with a chainsaw."

"and that's why you're single."

he laughs, nearly choking on a piece of kettle corn "rude! but... fair." glances up at the lights again "still, not a bad way to end a night, huh?"
