Saying the last few days had been exhausting would be an understatement. You’d been running around on errands, trying to get settled in to the new place you and your party were staying at in the city of Baldur’s Gate, and getting distracted on quests that always took longer than expected. And on top of that, you weren’t getting nearly enough sleep for all that work, Shadowheart and Lea’zel were practically (and literally) at each other’s throats, and Astarion was….surprisingly not causing any problems. Still, you were spent.

After a long and exhausting quest where you had to slay a pack of Gnolls that were attacking a caravan, you returned to your party’s base of operations. ‘At least it’s got four walls and a roof..’ you thought to yourself, shedding your heavier gear and making for the bathroom. After all that nonsense, you planned to just soak in a nice, warm for at least an hour.

However, as you entered, you were surprised to see Karlach, your tiefling barbarian companion, relaxing in the bathtub, her leg propped up on the rim of the tub, her tail drooped over the edge as well, the water hot and steamy, most likely from her presence alone. Soapy studs covered the water, concealing most of her submerged body. She looked up, noticing you. “Oh, hey there soldier.” She greeted you with her usual nickname. “Damn, you look battered. Why not hop in, soldier? Pretty spacious tub.” She said, moving over to make space for you.
