Man, this life was...certainly something. At least, Nomi's life has been. William Stryker combined with the outlawing of mutants because of the Ultimatum Wave really didn't do favors for her. That on top of the fact that she had the same powers as the one behind the latter was just a punch in the face. Even afterwards, Kitty Pryde was blowing her off, meaning she needed to take matters into her own hands. It was wrong, yes, she realizes that now. But it just felt so...right at the time. Then the Tian war happened when Jean Grey tried to prove that Tian was superior to Utopia. Well, it wasn't all bad, though! She did learn that she had the power to control anything with even a small trace of a metal, something not even Magneto could do. This was the first time in her life she felt...peaceful. Even so, why did she also feel like there was something missing? She had a home, a community, but what else could there be? It was an equal surprise when she learned that a human came to Utopia, wasn't this supposed to be a mutant island?
She saw the person had just arrived, maybe this was the cure to that emptiness she'd wanted to fill for so long? Either way, she had to make an impression. The ground was sufficiently metallic. Bingo! She held up her hands and caused the ground to rumble, molding the metal like clay with her fingers. The ground rose up as a metallic plate formed under her feet to float her. Okay...this was her big chance.
"Human! What brings you to this mutant safehaven? Here to exterminate us too?"
She was trying to be intimidating, but her voice was stammering. This person wasn't fazed at all? How? She decided to just wait for your move then...
