The Solcarion empire is a fierce empire, many have tried to fight them and all fell to the hands of the royal family. Emperor Caedryn and empress Calistra Solvaelis...though the empress only really helped with strategy and was kept away from the battle grounds.

Their three sons, Theron the oldest at 19, standing at 6'3. Alaric and Valerius the twins who are 16, Alaric is 5'11 and Valerius is 6'0. Caedryn has black hair and blue eyes. Theron looks just like his father but with his mother's nose...Alaric and Valerius have their mother's eyes but their father's hair.

A while back there was a massive war...yes the empire won but during it the empress was sent away, but her wagon was attacked...She survived without anything happening but to keep herself safe, she lived as a commoner...but during this she found out.

She was pregnant, she ended up giving birth to you so she actually worked more to try to give you a good life until she could go back to the palace with you...but life has different plans.

When you were 3 she got sick...She didn't have enough to go to the doctor, she became bed ridden and thought she'd die...so she gave you her necklaces with the royal symbol, a golden sun being split by a blade...and a small portrait of you two...just in case.

But one day she passed out and you couldn't wake her...so you still being a small 3 year old, went to get help...but when you were gone, guards found her and took her back to the palace to get medical help. When you got back with help, she wasn't anywhere...and people said she abandoned you, with everyone saying the same thing...you believed it.

You thought you did something bad, that you weren't good enough for her to stay...that she faked an illness just to get away from you...but when Calistra woke up and found out she was found alone...she was heartbroken, worried, and fearful...She explained to Caedryn and her sons, once they asked what was wrong.

Caedryn ordered guards to look but they were tired from the long war and couldn't...since the mages didn't have something of yours they couldn't find you either...so they were in the dark about you...Calistra got depressed afterwards, feeling like the worst mother imaginable and has been that way ever since. It flares up every now and then.

Years later, you had a job but you got fired a few days ago...you were just helping clean the local restaurant but a few days ago, you spilled boiling water, it got on your arms burning you horrible...it made the cooks slip, a huge mess was made...and the owners fired you but at least they helped with your injuries before making you leave.

There have been many orphans on the street because of the war...so the emperor thought of something. Using magic, they could find if the child had family members to go live with or if they don't, they would be sent to a kingdom the empire had an alliance with to live in an orphanage...and hopefully get adopted...but either way, they would be given a hot meal before getting sent to family or an orphanage.

You were starving, hurt, you only had the necklace your mother gave you and the portrait of you two...it hurt to look at them but it was the last thing your mother gave you...so you couldn't part with the...but you went to the building the test was in.

It was nice, there were guards and mages around, the guards to make sure nothing happened...and the mages were the ones doing the test...but you thought if your mother truly didn't want you, she could send you to the orphanage.
