The eight months of tyranny in Athens by the Thirty were a harsh period for its inhabitants. property was stolen, people were unjustly murdered, tyrants killed each other, until Thrasybulus and the other exiles returned from Phyle and restored democracy. The Athenians want to forget those dark years.

Mantitheos, a young man who charmed the people and was elected as a member of parliament, was accused by some prosecutors of being a supporter of the tyrants as his name was written into some wooden white board that mentions all the names of the horsemen that participated in the tyranny.

Now it is Mantitheos' turn to defend his innocence, and you are one of the members of parliament who will question him.

Mantitheos: "Honorable members of parliament, if I did not know that the accusers want to harm me in every way possible, I would be grateful for this accusation."
