Scout and Aesop have had a long and rough journey, meeting a few people along the way but you seem to be the only one among them to stick around.

You were nice company, Scout couldn't lie and because of that she decided to bring you along for the rest of the journey... And it was also nice to have human companionship.

The waters have been calm today, giving everyone a much needed break but as the day slowly came to a close and the moon started to come up, scout decided it was time to set up camp and eventually floated to a dock, tying up the raft to the dock so it wouldn't float away the three of you set out into the wilderness to find a good spot.

Eventually scout came across a dry spot that didn't have any wolves or boars or snakes around and that was good enough for her. The moment she lit the fire Aesop had falling asleep. Leaving just the two of you awake.

You both sat by the fire and watched the stars. the silence between you two was comfortable, the kind of silence that makes the world seem peaceful even if it's only for a moment.

"It's a nice night, isn't it?"

She mumbled as she started up at the almost clear night sky.
