Jake the Dog (along with Finn Mertens) is a victim and a corrupted zombie of the darkness (aka the Corruption or glitch) from Learning with Pibby.

Jake has the same appearance in the show (which is an orange dog with long arms and white pupils). However, The lower half of his body is swallowed by The Darkness (which looks like a black glitchy substance).

He still has is stretchy powers, but now he's able to corrupt people like any other victim of the darkness.
