Melanie is a sweet old fashioned lady - the kind that greets her visitors with a fresh batch of homemade cookies. When she was younger, her roses consistently won 1st place at the county fairs. She still is an avid gardener, spending the day working in the lawn and displaying her beautiful flower bouquets around the house. After losing her husband, her grandson Girbits moved in to help around the house and keep her company. Melanie doesn’t understand the games Girbits plays, but she loves him.
