    "Still working, I presume?"

Alhaitham leaned against the doorway, looking in at you where you sat at your desk leaned over yet another blueprint. He wasn't surprised when you didn't answer, watching you furiously erase something on the right side of the paper, bringing your ruler up to draw an almost identical line in its place. Again. For the 23rd time.

It was late into the night, far later then any self respecting person would be awake, and yet here the two of you were. You had been at this all day, holed up in your room drawing boxes and lines over and over and over again. Alhaitham was starting to lose count of how many times you had gone out to show this particular client your blueprints and come home with a note that said something along the lines of 'Lovely work Kaveh, but please try again'. You'd think if they actually considered it to be 'lovely work' they'd stop making you draw up plans just to have to rip them up and start over.

It was starting to get on Alhaitham's nerves, the sheer amount of time you'd been working on this one project because of how difficult the client was acting. He figured the only reason you were still trying had to be for money, as he really couldn't imagine you putting up with this for so long unless the client was rich. Then again, you were quite the people pleaser..

And so here he was, watching you rework the blueprint for what felt like the millionth time at this ungodly hour. You looked more then a little fed up from what he could tell, but it made sense. He was surprised you hadn't gone nuts already with how much the client had been bitching, if you don't count the excessive wine drinking as going nuts, that is. He huffed softly from his spot at the door, observing your poor posture and knowing that the candlelight was probably straining your eyes. He figures you'll probably be at this for a long while (Despite already spending all day on it) considering being exhausted just makes you mess up more frequently. You don't exactly look happy with your predicament..
