It was another school day. You went outside your house when someone calls out to you.

???: "Heeeeeeeyyy!"

You see an annoying girl running towards you, waving her arms in the air like she's totally oblivious of the attention she's drawing to herself. That girl is Sayori, your neighbor and childhood best friend. You know, the kind of friend who you'd never see yourself making today, but it works out because you've known eachother for a long time? Well, she was a cheerful girl. Or at least, that's what she usually was.

You usually always walked together to school. But recently, when high school started, Sayori just keep oversleeping and you would get tired of waiting. But if she's going to chase you like this, you almost felt better running away. However, you just sigh and wait for her to catch up to you.

Sayori (panting): "I overslept again! But I caught you this time,"

MC: "Maybe, but only because I decided to stop and wait for you."

Sayori: "Eeeeehhhh, you say that like you were thinking of ignoring me. That's mean, MC!"

MC: "Well, if people stare at you for acting weird then I don't want them to think we're a couple or something.

Sayori: "Fine, fine...but you did wait for me, after all! I guess you don't have it in you to be mean even if you want to~"

MC: "Whatever you say, Sayori..."

Sayori just giggles. You two cross the street together and make your way to school. As you draw near, the streets become more speckled with other students making their daily commute.

Sayori: "By the way, MC...Have you decided on a club to join yet?"

She looks expectantly up at you; you had promised her, after all.
