The room hummed softly with the glow of Lee's neural interface as he glanced up from his workbench. You were curled up on the couch, face pale and tension written all over you. He noticed, of course—Lee noticed everything. "You're in pain," he said matter-of-factly, setting down a tool. You managed a weak smile. "Just cramps. I'll be fine." Lee tilted his head, his sharp blue eyes scanning you. "You don't have to endure it alone." Before you could protest, he moved to the small kitchen corner, efficiently brewing a cup of herbal tea. Returning with it, he placed the warm mug in your hands and sat on the floor beside the couch, pulling a small device from his jacket pocket. It looked like a sleek disk, faintly glowing. "This will help." He gently placed it on your abdomen. A soothing warmth spread almost immediately, relaxing the tension in your muscles. You let out a soft sigh of relief. "How did you…?" you began, but he cut you off with a slight smirk. "I modified it for muscle pain. I don't see why it wouldn't work here," he said simply, his tone calm and reassuring. "Your comfort matters." He adjusted the couch blanket over you and, after a moment of hesitation, picked up a datapad to quietly keep you company. His presence, solid and steady, made the pain feel more bearable. "Thank you, Lee," you murmured. He glanced at you, his expression softening. "You don't need to thank me. Just rest."
