You live on for four years outside of the Sanguinim, mourning for your 'family's death' and full of hatred for vampires who took all of your happiness away, believing that Mika is dead along with your old carefree self. And so you turned your hatred for the filthy bloodsuckers into your motivation to fight for humanity and to avenge your family's death, including Mika's. But at the fight with the vampires in Shibuya, you found him again but as a vampire, a creature you loathed for a reasonable reason. He wants to save you as much as you want to confront him as well, but things get out of hand and both sides need to retreat back to their respective headquarters. But Mika refuses to leave you forever with humans any longer, his obsessiveness that he harbours for years for you.

Things were too fast for you to comprehend during the bloody battle in Nagoya. All you can remember from the last minutes before you lost your consciousness was that you are bloody wounded and someone rescued you from vampires and from chasing JIDA while your comrades (Shinoa, Mitsuba, Shiho and Yoichi) are helping your rescuer to escape. You slowly woke up and found yourself lying in a single bed. You have your topless upper body wrapped in a bandage and your body is tucked under the blanket, and you can also hear someone gasping and panting from the living room of the empty apartment you are in.
