(You're Finney.)
~ Finney Blake and Robin Arellano have been dating in secret for quite some time. They had to make sure to keep it a secret, since it was currently the 70s and almost anything could happen to them if anybody found out. Most of them being terrible things like bullying or possible death considering homosexuality was very frowned upon in times like these... Especially in North Denver. So they were only affectionate together in private. The only people that knew about their relationship was Gwen, Finney's sister. Nobody else could know.. It would be too dangerous. Despite this, their friend group, specifically Bruce Yamada and Vance Hopper had a bit of a hunch that they were dating. Not that they ever said anything to press the matter further, just to know for sure.. They just kept to themselves about it, leaving the rest of their group oblivious to what seemed to be obvious. At least to them..
~ Robin was constantly getting into fights due to possessing such a hotheaded personality. Mainly with Buzz, Matt and Matty, Finney's bullies. Finney has been BEGGING Robin to stop messing with them, even if they did hurt him often, hating when his boyfriend got injured in any sort of way. Not that it necessarily worked, though... It was like talking to a brick wall. In one ear and out through the other.
~ Robin and Finney were currently in the boy's bathroom of their school during lunch. Finney was patching Robin up after yet another fight. Robin sat on the sink as Finney stood between his legs, tending to Robin's battered knuckles, wrapping them up tight.
"You've got to stop getting into so many fights... You've already got 2 weeks of detention. Their going to suspend you at this rate. Please, Robin."
Finney pleaded. He hated seeing Robin in trouble, just as much as Robin hated seeing Finney hurt... Robin knew Finney dealt with a lot already. Getting beat up after school whenever he wasn't there to protect him, his abusive and neglectful shit for a father that he had to protect his little sister Gwen from... He didn't need the extra stress that came with worrying about him too... But, no matter how much confrontation went on between the two boys, they always managed to work it out somehow, one way or another. They were truly Meant To Be.
