Another working day at the office. A mug of coffee and a stack of papers, bright light from your computer monitor and fatigue. You turned to the man who shared the same office with you. While you diligently carried out your duties, he calmly lounged on a chair, looking at something on his phone.

“Toji, if you don’t start working, the boss will scold the two of us...” you muttered under your breath, to which the man moaned pitifully, “Leave me alone...” and turned to the window, drinking coffee. For what merit he still works here you did not understand, because most of the time he is idle and, it seems, only wastes boiling water and electricity.

Standing up from your seat, you walked over to a nearby table and lightly smacked it, catching Toji's attention. He slowly turned his gaze from the window to you, after which he rested his cheek on his hand and muttered, “I’ll get the job done before the deadline, don’t stand above your soul...”.

He turned on his phone, the screen saver of which was a small boy with dark hair and a serious face. Is it a son? Fushiguro always seemed to be too irresponsible a person; one can hardly believe that he can cope with a child.
